Food Orlando Where to Eat

Halloween in Orlando-Foodie Style!

Love Halloween? Love Craft Beer? What about food? (you’re here, duh!) Well, have I got a few special Halloween events for you!

These 2 events are both family friendly, both contain amazing Halloween inspired food, special cocktails, and craft beers, AND will give you the opportunity to celebrate outside of your house so you don’t have to fall prey to the 1,204,324,424 “Elsa’s” that are sure to show up at your door…unless you’re going to be doing the Elsa Drinking Game that’s been floating around (if you have no idea what I’m talking about google it) then carry on…and you’re welcome! 😉

Let the fun begin!!

RA Sushi- Boo Bash Halloween Party

Have a freakishly fun time on Halloween at RA Sushi Bar Restaurant’s Boo Bash party! On Friday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to close, chow down on a variety of Boo Bites, and sip on Potent Potions. Wicked Halloween décor and haunting music will keep the fun going all day and night. PLUS, those dressed in the best costumes may pocket some serious treats, such as RA Sushi gift certificates!

Sink your teeth into RA’s Boo Bites, including:

Zombie Roll ($8): spicy salmon, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeño rolled and topped with avocado and sriracha.
The Black Widow Roll ($10): crispy soft shell crab, kaiware sprouts, kani kama crab mix rolled in rice and soy paper, then topped with shredded daikon, spicy mayo and eel sauce.
The Wicked Shrimp ($8.99): crispy shrimp served on a bed of mixed greens, with a creamy ginger teriyaki dipping sauce.

Frozen Black Lagoon ($7) is a spine tingling mix of sparkling white wines, Bacardi Rum, yuzu, and peach and strawberry purées.
Geisha’s Spell ($7) is a magical concoction of cold lemonade, Skyy Raspberry vodka, Chambord, fresh lemon sour and a splash of soda.

This event is going to be a blast! Again, this one is family-friendly as well! For kids 12 and under they  have trick-or-treating & also a kids area with bounce houses (seriously, what kid doesn’t love a good bounce house). And for my craft beer friends, for $20 you get unlimited samples of German, Oktoberfest and seasonal brews! I’ve been to an event by Florida Beer Festivals and they do not disappoint!

Details: 5-9 pm Friday at Waterford Lakes Town Center, 413 N. Alafaya Trail
