We expected to enjoy an evening out, with friends and family for valentines day. Little did we know this evening would turn out to be one of the worst my wife and I have ever experienced at a restaurant! We arrived, and got to our table, that was filthy, chair covered with some type of liquid, and puddles on the floor. After the table, and chair was cleaned, we sat down and read over the menu. The waitress left, and came back to take our orders. We ordered our drinks and food. Upon receiving our food and drinks, our waitress did not know who’s was who’s. It wasas though she was preoccupied and had something else on her mind, as we constantly had to repay what we said. She was no where to be found after she brought us our first round of drinks, and food. It took us forever to get tells or anything else for that fact. Eventually we were able to get refills. Once we were ready to leave, we paid our bills and proceeded to leave. We went ahead, and started to make our hour and 15 minute drive home. About 5 minutes after we left I receive a phone call from one of the other individuals, that was joining us for dinner. I was informed by this individual, that a manager came to him stating that we did not pay our full bill, that we still had a remaining balance. Shocked I asked what do you mean. I was then told that the manager said we were 20 something dollars short, plus tip. I then informed this individual that no there was not a remaining balance. My bill came to 63.xx, I gave the waitress 73.00, which was more than the bill, and close to a $10.00 tip. I called duffy’s, and asked to speak with a manager, after being placed on hold, a man comes on the phone. I asked this individual his name, and was informed that it was Kevin. Then, I confirmed, that he was a manager. I explained the situation, and how embarrassed, and disgusted I was. Kevin apologized, and stated, “That is something that should never f*****g happen I am sorry, I will get it taken care of. ” I informed Kevin that one of the other individuals in my party would be back over to speak with him, and collect the money he paid for a bill that was already paid in full. When the individual arrived, he was told no. I can not believe a business would act in such a manner, and have never been so embarrassed, or disgusted in my life!

Hey Josh, I am SO sorry to hear about your experience at Duffy’s! No customer should ever have to experience what you and your wife went through. My husband and I have been back (and taken family & friends) on three different occasions and were given great service and good meals, however, I’m sad to hear about your experience there and appreciate you letting me know! Hope you had an amazing Valentines Day besides the dinner experience. -Kate

Josh, I wanted to sincerely apologize for what happened during your visit to our Lake Mary location. From start to finish this sounds like an absolutely awful experience. We take full responsibility for what happened and cannot begin to tell you how embarrassed we are. Josh, if there is anyway possible you could call me at 561-371-4970 I would like to speak directly with you about this. If email is better please email jsmith@duffysmvp.com
Josh, I am so sorry for how this all transpired. This is not how we will ever be successful if we treat our guests in such a terrible way. We hope we can find a way to have you and your family give us a chance to make this right.
