This post was sponsored by Walt Disney World. I was invited to attend a screening of Moana in exchange for this post. As always, all opinions are my own!
Growing up in Central Florida, I have SO many memories of visiting the Disney parks and beautiful resorts with my family!
One of my favorites has always been Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I love the vibe, the decor, and not to mention the fabulous restaurants! So, about a week ago I was invited to visit the resort for an early screening of Disney’s newest film Moana (full review coming soon!). Non-spoiler alert: It’s ADORABLE!
Before the film we enjoyed dinner at Luau Cove and in true Disney magic fashion they reserved a bungalow to be open for a private tour and to take a look around.
I was SO excited and have always wanted to see what it looks like inside and it surely didn’t disappoint.
Located just off of the white sand beaches of the Seven Seas Lagoon, sits 20 on-the-water Bora Bora bungalows designed and decorated in true, authentic South Pacific style!
Each bungalow is 2 bed/2 bath and can sleep up to 8 people!
As soon as you walk through the doorway you feel as though you’ve walked into a tropical paradise, Disney style! With gorgeous artwork adorning the walls. No detail goes unnoticed.
Another fabulous feature is the HUGE private back deck (that the plunge pool sits on).
This deck runs the entire width of the bungalow and has lounge furniture and swinging chairs with outdoor speakers that are designed to play the soundtrack in sync with the Magic Kingdom fireworks!
Oh, what I would have given to be able to witness those fireworks from the deck!…Literally, the most PERFECT view!
What’s the price tag, you ask? The bungalows start at around $2,300/night.
PS- I took a look around the bungalow and posted it via Facebook Live, check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/tastefullykateblog/videos/
Hope you enjoyed taking a look around one of Disney’s Polynesian Bungalows! If you need me…I’ll be dreaming about soaking in that master bathtub! 😉
